Zabaglione (Custard)
Zabaglione is a traditional Italian dessert made with egg yolks, sugar, and a sweet wine such as Marsala or Moscato. The ingredients are whipped to create a light custard. Zabaglione is served warm, often with fresh strawberries or blueberries, or over a slice of panettone bread.

Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 tsp (20 ml) sugar
- 4 tbsp (60 ml) Marsala
Directions
- Over a double boiler, combine egg yolks, sugar, and Marsala.
- Whisk until mixture thickens to the consistency of pudding. Be careful not to scramble the eggs.
- Remove from heat.
- Serve warm in a wine glass or with desired toppings.
